AmeriMed has been providing CPR classes, First Aid classes, and Preventive Practices classes in San Diego County since 1992. Our courses are approved by the California Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA) and the San Diego county Emergency Medical Services Authority (EMSA), as well as the California Dental board. This qualifies us to certify all childcare and adult care providers and R.C.F. staff. We also offer 4 hours of continuing education units for dentists, registered dental assistants, and dental hygienists.
We are also certified by the American Heart Association to provide both the BLS for the Healthcare Provider certification for healthcare providers (which include medical and dental staff and students), and the American Heart Association Heartsaver AED CPR certification for lay rescuers (which include credentialed teachers, fitness trainers and health club staff, Department of Transportation staff, and more).
