Okay, no one seems to like Brussels sprouts except for me. But, you haven’t tried this recipe. My friends are always my guinea pigs, and this recipe has converted most of them to Brussels sprouts lovers. It is simple, yet tasty.
2 tablespoons Olive oil
8 Brussels sprouts, cut in half or in fourths
1/4 cup sweet onions, diced
4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
Salt to taste
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil. Brown the garlic and the onions. Add the Brussels sprouts and flash-brown the edges. Add 2 tablespoons of water (or cooking sherry) and cover the skillet. Turn off the heat and let sit until tender. Salt to taste. Serves 2.
