This course is a Blended Learning format (part-online, part in-person) • The course fee includes BOTH the online course and the in-person session • PART 1 is an ONLINE, home study course (approximately 1-3 hours) • PART 2 is an IN-PERSON, hands-on private session (approximately 1-hour) • The in-person, hands-on session is conducted privately with our instructor, and reduces your exposure to others • You may call to request space in the hands-on session for up to 3 people from the same household • You will receive an email with the link and instructions for completing the online course the next business day upon receipt of your paid registration • Please check your email’s junk folder if you do not see our correspondence in your inbox - IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO NOTIFY US IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE YOUR ONLINE COURSE LINK. • Please be sure to PRINT AND BRING A COPY of your online course completion certificate • You will receive the same BLS CPR certificate as you would in the all in-person course • YOU MUST BE ON TIME to your session • FACE COVERINGS REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES • AmeriMed CPR Training is a SHARP HEALTHCARE APPROVED training site • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: In order to successfully pass the BLS Provider course, you will be required to practice and demonstrate CPR skills on both an adult manikin and an infant manikin several times • This will require physical effort, including kneeling on the floor and pushing forcefully on the manikin’s chest with both hands/arms • If at any time you are unable to practice or perform CPR skills due to discomfort or limitations, you must let your instructor know immediately • We will stop your practice or testing • Please let us know if you have any limitations • We may be able to make special accommodations
