Training is offered EITHER online via Zoom or in-person in San Diego County.
NOTE: California EMSA approves online courses that utilize a virtual classroom with real-time interaction with an instructor during class.

The Preventive Heath & Safety course fulfills 8-hours of the 16-hour training requirement for licensed childcare providers and center-based childcare staff.

Course includes the 1-hour Nutrition supplement and the Lead Poisoning Prevention supplement.

ZOOM class rules

It is your responsibility to review, understand and comply with the Zoom class rules. If you do not understand the rules, or cannot comply with them, please contact us for other options. Students who do not comply with the class rules will be removed from the class and WILL NOT receive their certification, nor any refund.

Certificates are issued in class when course is taken in-person.
For online courses, certificates are mailed to the address on your registration, and arrive within 4-10 business days.

We do NOT provide TRANSLATORS.
If you need to bring a translator to your in-person class, you MUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT by calling 619-469-7109. Translators must also book a seat in class when attending an in-person class.

If you come to the in-person class with a translator who is not pre-approved, you will need to reschedule your in-person training and the rescheduling fee will apply.
