Cancellation and Rescheduling Policies

It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to ensure that you are enrolled in the correct class. Cancellation & rescheduling policies apply even if you enroll in the wrong class.

Course CANCELLATION may only be done via TELEPHONE (619.469.7109), and must be RECEIVED 2 BUSINESS DAYS prior to the class. There are no refunds for classes cancelled without 2 BUSINESS DAYS notice. Business days are Mon-Thur, 9:00am to 4:00pm; Fri, 9:00am to 2:00 pm and exclude holidays & weekends.

Course RESCHEDULING may only be done ONLINE, and must be RECEIVED 2 BUSINESS DAYS prior to the class. Business days are Mon-Thur, 9:00am to 4:00pm; Fri, 9:00am to 2:00 pm and exclude holidays & weekends.

If you miss your class, or do not reschedule your class at least 2 BUSINESS DAYS prior to class, you may receive a ONE-TIME courtesy discount off regular course fees to reschedule your class. (Must be done within 60 days of your payment)

The rescheduling policy applies to each class date missed.

You may reschedule your class ONE TIME.

Rescheduling fees apply EVEN if you have YMCA vouchers.

Class may be rescheduled a maximum of ONE TIME.

We reserve the right to decline your rescheduled date request due to limited seating on that date.

Rescheduled classes must be approved by the administration, as classes are limited to only 1 rescheduled student per class.

No refunds will be issued for cancellations or rescheduling made after that time.

Classes begin promptly.

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to course start time.

LATE ARRIVALS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN CLASS, and the rescheduling policy applies.

Time management, traffic, parking, and memory issues are not exceptions to the late policy. There are no cancellations or refunds for late arrivals or missed classes. NO EXCEPTIONS!

If you miss your class due to tardiness, the rescheduling policy applies.

Receipt and confirmation expire in 60 days after which fees will be forfeited.

Auditing of classes is NOT permitted. Anyone who stays in our facility during class time must pay for the class.

CHILDCARE IS NOT PROVIDED. Please do not bring children to class. You will be asked to reschedule and the rescheduling policy applies.

WE DO NOT PROVIDE TRANSLATORS. Translators must make an appointment. Only one translator per class. Please call 619.469.7109 or click here for our complete policy on translators.

Rescheduling Procedures

  1. Enroll ONLINE in a new course date.
  2. Enter and apply the discount code “reschedule” to receive a ONE-TIME 50% discount.
  3. Rescheduling discount may be used only ONE time. If you miss your rescheduled class, the full course fee is due.
  4. Note on the registration form in the box titled “I need this certification for” that you are rescheduling your class from [old class date].
  5. To pay for your rescheduled class online (default option):
    • Choose the “Pay online” option in the “Choose to Pay with” drop-down box (default option).
    • Place your order.
    • Pay the course fee.
  6. To pay for your rescheduled class by phone:
    • Choose the “Call in payment” option in the “Choose to Pay with” drop-down box.
    • Place your order.
    • Call 619-469-7109 to make your payment.
  7. The applicable course fee must be paid prior to the seats selling out in order to confirm your seat in the new class.
    • We reserve the right to decline your rescheduling date request due to limited seating on that date.
    • Rescheduled classes must be approved by the administration, as classes are limited to only 1 rescheduled student per class.
  8. If you are rescheduling more than 2 BUSINESS DAYS prior to your original class date, there is no charge to reschedule.
    • Choose the “Call in my payment” option in the “Choose to Pay with” drop-down box.
    • Call 619-469-7109 during regular business hours to have us approve your new registration.
  9. If you are rescheduling less than 2 BUSINESS DAYS prior to your original class date, there is a charge to reschedule.
